Check out my client Eddie Treacy. Eddie came to me back in August at 81 kg and wanted to cut weight for his middleweight professional boxing debut on the 6th of October.
Because of the nature of his sport, I needed to create a nutrition plan that would shed the fat but also keep energy and strength levels high as you can imagine how demanding fight preparation is we could not afford a drop in intensity.
Eddie weighed in for his fight at 69kg. That's a drop in weight of 12kg or 28pounds in under 3 months.
He won his debut fight with a first-round knockout. He stayed on the plan in preparation for his next fight which was in November which he also won.
A big well done to Eddie. One to watch in future.
